northern animals print

TWENTY NORTHERN FRIENDS

More animals matched with "fun facts", this time from Canada's far north. Did you know that narwahl means "corpse whale," due to a tendency to float belly up and motionless? That in cold weather arctic hares gather in large groups, often moving, running, and changing direction simultaneously, as though a single organism? Or that the wolverine (Gulo gulo in latin), is actually a weasel?

"Twenty Northern Friends" is an open edition screen print, 50 x 70 cm (19.69 by 27.56 inches), signed and dated on the back. Printed in grey on white 250 gram Rising Stonehenge paper.

This item will be shipped rolled in a paper tube. Conveniently fits an Ikea Ribba frame.

Produced in Vancouver, Canada.
