With Lyra Ferby Pencils you can draw effortlessly for a very long time. This coloured pencil has a highly pigmented, super thick, 6.25 mm diameter break-resistant long-wearing lead core, which will wear 3-4 times longer than normal pencils, and require less frequent sharpening. Ferby's triangular shape helps with practicing the proper pencil hold, the tripod-grip.

Unlacquered (safer in case little ones put them in their mouths) and 17.5 cm long. Wood-sealed ends for added safety and durability.

Sold here in single pencils. Alternatively available as 6-pack, 12-pack (Waldorf selection of colours), or lacquered sets also available. Shorter Ferby pencils available for younger children who may find a 'regular length' 17.5 cm colouring pencil too long for them to start with.

A triangular, soft graphite pencil (HB Grade) for the first exercises in handwriting.

Unlacquered.  The triangular grip characteristic of Lyra Ferby pencils encourages a stable and proper habit for positioning and grip with the pencil.  They are also a little larger diameter than regular pencils.

Comes in short (Ferby) or long (Super Ferby) versions. The short pencil can be nicer in the hand to manage for a younger child.  The long pencil will last longer.

Dimensions: Pencil diameter is 10 mm (0.39 inch). Lead diameter 6.25 mm (0.25 inch). Short Ferby is 120 mm long (4.72 inches).  Long Super Ferby is 'regular pencil length' of 175 mm (6.89 inches).

This splender is for polishing colour surfaces, which were put on with colour pencils.  Rubbing over the colours with the colourless Splender intensifies them.  Also suitable for mixing colours.

The surfaces get a smooth and easily shining surface by the Splender.

This sharpener is suitable for all wax stick crayons, most notably Stockmar.

A functional & lightweight sharpener, that contains the mess, and empties out easily.  The sharpener does not generally separate and spill out its shavings contents unintentionally.  A great choice all around!  Replacement blades available separately, but generally not needed for ages.
