The coloured wooden products are protected by well fixed water-based colours.

In contrast to lacquering, the grain of the wood shows through.  The surface feels slightly rougher making the blocks less slippery - a plus for the child's tactile sense development.

Care and cleaning requires only a moist cloth.  Do not use chemical cleaning agents.
