The bottom and the column of the 10 scale is made of alder wood. The balance beam is made of birch plywood.
All wooden parts are treated with an oil based on linseed oil from the Biofa company, which gives them their beautiful appearance and their surface that is pleasant to the touch and insensitive to dirt.
The scales and the weights are made of stainless steel.
