Disana muslin cloths (for nappy diapering)

There are countless ways to fold this muslin cloth as a nappy diaper for the baby.  And every experienced mother or midwife has their very own technique for this.  The Disana 80 x 80 cm woven muslin cloth can also be used as an absorbent inlay in the nappy for the night.  Or as a burp cloth, a bib, a source of shade or a soothing comfort.  A universal cloth that no baby carriage should be without.

Wash in 95 degrees Celsius for sanitizing.  Expect shrinkage when washing in hot water.  These cloths soften up wonderfully after washing.  To minimize shrinkage: line dry as opposed to machine dry.  Stretch out while wet or damp.  If you do use a machine to dry, then remove and hang while still damp.  Handwash (or handwash setting on a washing machine) also reduces shrinkage.  Washing in cooler temperature water will reduce shrinkage, but also will not sanitize as well.  Use a gentle detergent to avoid harsh chemicals that may also stress the fibres.
