~ The 50 mL (~2 oz) paint jars are fine to go with.  If one chose, 100 mL jars are taller, and can then hold more, if many children together working from the same jar, or if you would like to mix more paint to begin with. (The Stockmar paint comes concentrated, and you then mix it with a little water, and it can be stored in a jar with a tight fitting lid where it can keep for a long while, to be used, week after week.)
