The trivet is made from solid European beech wood.  The natural oils used emphasize the colour of the wood and protect the wood. Smoothly rounded.

The overall object can be taken apart into its 2 components and then used each for its own pot or casserole dish.  The curved design is timeless and the elements fit perfectly into each other.
