Looking for a unique craft idea?  Wow your friends with hollow wooden Easter eggs that you've decorated yourself!  There is enough room to hide a surprise inside of each wooden egg.  Draw, paint or woodburn these do-it-yourself eggs - all is up to you!  Top quality linden wood unpainted blanks hand carved in Polkhovski Maidan, the biggest center of nesting doll production in Russia.   The eggs have a flattened bottom so they are self standing.

Blank items ordered from Golden Cockerel are made of real live linden wood.  Real wood has imperfections, including but not limited to; discolorations, knots, holes and dry spots.  While we strive to pick the best, blemish free linden wood for our blank products, imperfections will occur.  In the case of knots, dents or holes we may use wood putty to fill these areas.  This creates a smooth surface for the application of artwork.
