The river wheel is the largest of the DIY assembly kits in the water play series that we offer.  It is shown here in one photo powering the hammer mill (sold separately), and in another photo, it is working to pull in the trout paddle boat (also, sold separately).  A beautiful and involved way in which to learn about the forces which provide power for so many processes in nature, and the basic driving force behind hydro power stations that support our human energy needs and activity.
