Practical, non-toxic natural cherry wooden bowls by Camden Rose with an 5-6" diameter.
This is our classic exclusive sculpted style that mimics a bowl with a band. Each bowl is made in Michigan from a solid block of wood. Cherry wood is a beautiful, living wood that darkens with light exposure, and transforms into a deep brown red over time. Why cherry wood? It is one of the woods that grows great in Michigan.
Aesthetically pleasing and functional bowls are part of a vanishing American tradition that began over 150 years ago. Highly sought-after craftsmen would turn bowls that were prized by families and passed from generation to generation.
Camden Rose creates bowls from a single piece of premium hardwood in this very same tradition. They are turned on a scoop lathe which conserves as much wood as possible. The bowls are then sanded silky-smooth and sealed with Three BEEautiful Bees All Natural Beeswax Polish.
