We are a Dutch company with more than 100 years of experience in the field of educational toys and development materials for young children. Many generations have learned and played with us!
We inspire and support people who help children to discover and develop their talents. We feel it’s our responsibility to contribute to the growth and development of children aged 0 – 12 years in an environment in which they can get an opportunity to discover and achieve their full potential.
We design and create educational materials and learning games that stimulate children’s development, knowledge and skills and support teachers’ goals. We work closely with teachers and educational experts to create our Dutch-designed products.
For our products we only use durable and strong, high quality materials all made in Holland.

For the production of our wooden puzzles we only use the latest technology, which results in beautifully printed coloured images. Prints are made of colorants and dyes that all have been CE tested and certified. All products are tested and approved in accordance with European legislation:

To address the challenges of today’s modern world and society’s growing demands for more sustainable solutions, life cycle thinking is one of the major challenges facing big industries when designing products. Similarly with us. By using Green Polyethylene, we can offer unique products made from renewable resources that make a significant contribution to reducing the level of greenhouse gas emissions throughout the chain. Green Polyethylene is a renewable alternative to polyethylene. We currently offer a number of articles that comply with this, sand moulds, buckets, sieves and scoops.
Green polyethylene is commonly made from sugar cane, beets, or wheat.
We are actively looking for ways to make our own products more environmentally friendly
Together with manufacturers, we are actively looking for eco-friendly alternatives as raw material for our products. We offer a whole range of eco-friendly sandpit materials and are busy expanding our so called ECO-Line. All sand pit materials from our ECO-Line are made from 100% biobased carbon content. In May 2023, we have updated all of our sand toys to bio-based Green Polyethylene.
By developing and producing Rolf products only in Europe, we can guarantee that we do not use or support, child labour or child exploitation. Furthermore, Rolf Education is strictly against all forms of modern slavery and human rights abuses.
