Nice in the hand for a child to use themselves, or a frequent choice among children, also on the sensitive side, to allow for a careful brushing with a caregiver. 

Wooden pegs allow smooth, gentle, and pleasant care of the scalp.  The optimised integration of the wood pegs into the natural rubber insert also prevents tearing out the hair when brushing.  Unlike metal pins, the wood pegs absorb very little heat during blow-drying and are also anti-static, as well as having a nice massaging feel on the scalp.
