The pocket planetarium is an astronomical aid to observing the movements of the sun, moon and planets.  With differently coloured magnetic wheels, the different constellations of the zodiac are marked and by turning them the movements of the sun, moon and planets, as visible from the Northern Hemisphere are shown.
